Tatiana Kosheleva Injured

This can’t be! We’d love to see her at the Grand Prix!

After playing in the 2011 Yeltsin Cup – which concluded this past weekend – the world’s best spiker from Russia is suffering from a major, major knee problem (meniscus).

If Koshe’s injury is indeed serious and requires surgery, then obviously she will miss the 2011 Grand Prix which kicks off in less than a month.

Her absence is a huge blow for Russia at the Grand Prix. Aside from Kosheleva, Sokolova is also skipping this year’s edition so we don’t think Gamova can do it alone. It’s going to be a tough tourney for the 2010 World Champions.

We wish Koshe a quick recovery.

Do You Think Russia Can Win the Grand Prix without Koshe?
