It’s about time we see Luca in a different club jersey.
After playing with Modena for 3 seasons in the Italian League, the 2016 Olympic silver medalist is moving on and will play with Trentino Volley for the next 3 years starting this 2017/2018 season.
Luca replaces Czech player Jan Stokr who will play for a club team in his country.
With Vettori on board, he now completes the Trentino puzzle of having “THE FANTASTIC FOUR” together with setter Simone Giannelli, outside hitter Filippo Lanza and libero Massimo Colaci.
These 4 players were part of the Olympic team in Rio last year and ended the tourney winning the silver medal. These players are also on the preliminary roster of the Italian National Team to compete this season.
We almost forgot to mention that Sebastian Sole and Tine Urnaut have left Trentino.
