His commitment to play for Italy has made volleyball headlines and we are not surprised at all. He is one of the world’s best players who stopped playing for Cuba due to so MANY REASONS.
He played for great clubs.

On a serious note, we hope that the Cuban Volleyball Federation realizes that their system is NOT helping their volleyball players. A lot of athletes have quit. We hope to see POSITIVE CHANGES moving forward.
Cuban volleyball in recent years SUCKS is NO longer the same.
