It sounds scary BUT it looks German players are not turning back as they enter “HELL WEEK” led by head coach Vital Heynen as they prepare for the 2015 European Champs.

So what is “HELL WEEK”?

According to www.volleyball-verband.de:

Aside from the normal training and exercises they do, the players MUST comply with the “HELL WEEK policies.

1) Players must get up with the sun and go to bed with the sun. (Better set those alarms boys!)

2) All mobile phones, Internet, TV and sweets are prohibited. (We like this one!)

3) Each player MUST read a book chosen by the Staff. (Interesting)

4) Speaking is NOT ALLOWED during the first 3 hours of each training day. (This is funny!)
