France To Host The Volleyball Nations League FINAL 6

EXCITING!!!

Team Yavbou – the last team to win the FIVB World League – has been chosen to host the Final Round of the Volleyball Nations League aka VNL. The city of Lille, France will welcome some of the world’s best teams July 4th-8th, 2018.

All matches will be held at The Stade Pierre Mauroy which is the home stadium of the French Ligue 1 football team Lille OSC.

FIVB President Ary Graca says:

“Stade Pierre Mauroy reflects our vision for the Volleyball Nations League perfectly. It is an advanced, modern stadium which will give fans an unrivalled experience, whether they are experiencing the atmosphere live or watching at home. The FIVB aims to be at the cutting edge of sport entertainment and we firmly believe that State Pierre Mauroy gives us the perfect platform to achieve this goal.”

Per FIVB:

The Volleyball Nations League is the FIVB’s new premier competition, in which 16 world class teams for each gender will battle to become Volleyball Nations League champion. More than 35 cities and 20 countries will host the tournament, bringing the live action closer to volleyball fans around the world.

The VNL is one of the 2 major tournaments this year. Two months after the VNL Finals, 24 of the world’s best teams will compete at the 2018 FIVB World Championship.
