Nootsara Tomkom Surprises Philippine Setter With Jersey

This is why we LOVE LOVE LOVE Thai setter Nootsara Tomkom!

A few days ago, Philippine setter Julia “Jia” Morado shared on her IG a surreal moment when Tomkom personally handed to her one of her jerseys at the recently concluded Asian Games in Indonesia. In the caption, Morado says she is “speechless” to have received such gift from her idol.

“To be in the same tournament, much more the same court as the player I have always looked up to definitely makes the hard work and sacrifices I’ve made worth it. But bringing home the jersey she wore in their championship game leaves me speechless, and even more inspired to work harder to be given an opportunity like this again. Thank you so much, @nootsara13! You’re an inspiration to me and millions of volleyball players all over the world.”

As of press time, Jia’s post has received more than 37,000 likes on IG, 3,174 RTs and 21,000 likes on Twitter.
