UPDATE: Maedeh is the third female Iranian player to play overseas. Nasrin Haghshenas & Mona Neghban Rad have played in the Danish and Italian league in the past.

Maedeh becomes the FIRST female Iranian player to play abroad. She has signed on to play for YEB-Shumen 05. Her new club team is currently 6th in the Bulgarian League.
