China’s Zhang Changning Is Ready To Play

Watch out world! China is getting stronger with the reported return of Olympic gold medalist Zhang Changning.

The outside hitter missed the Volleyball Nations League due to an ankle injury which required surgery. According to this report, Zhang is back with the team and is now getting ready to train for the upcoming World Championship in October.

With Zhang, superstar Zhu Ting, middle blocker Yuan Xinyue, setter Ding Xia , young star Li Yingying and the legendary Coach Lang Ping, China is back on our list as one of the favorites to win the World title together with USA, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia & The Netherlands.

In case you forgot, China took the silver medal 4 years ago after losing to Team USA.
