We just love Sheilla! She’s the world’s best opposite hitter and she’s got the personality loved by millions of volleyball fans from all over the world.
Sheilla has stated that at first she was very disappointed when Brazil won the SILVER medal at the World Champs for the second time in a row. She promised her grandma she’s win the GOLD but Gamova and Russia crushed her dream.
Days after her return to Brazil, Sheilla realized that she should be very proud of the SILVER medal around her neck knowing that Brazil went through a difficult path before the tournament, ie Mari and Paula got injured and were missing in Japan. (We totally agree! Winning a medal is a great achievement and Sheilla should proud of her performance and Brazil’s presence in the Gold Medal Match).
At the moment Sheilla is busy preparing for the Superligo. She currently plays for Unilver with Mari and under Coach Rezende.
