This is heartbreaking…
Brazilian player, Juliana Odilon, is back in Brazil to play for Volei Futuro next season. Juliana happily shared to the media that she’s very excited to play on one of the best teams in the Superliga and she feels great to be home after playing in Russia.
Here comes the sad part…
Juliana shared that life was never easy while in Russia. Being the only black woman in the city of Khabarovsk, Juliana had been asked to leave a store and also witnessed people spitting on the floor when they’d see her.
How awful!
Juliana kept all these hurtful experiences to herself because she didn’t want her family in Brazil to worry. She said that they were very sad situations and unforgettable moments.
