Manon Flier To Play In …

Moshi! Moshi!

The news is not yet official but it will be most likely soon.

After playing 3 seasons in Italy, one of the world’s best players from The Netherlands will play for Toray Arrows in the 2011/2012 edition of the Japanese V-League.

Toray finished 2nd last season after winning the 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions.

Foreign players who have played for Toray in the past are Serbian Jelena Nikolić (2005-06), Dominican Republic’s Bethania de la Cruz (2007-08), China’s Zhang Yuehong (2008-09) and American Cynthia Barboza (2009-2010).

We’re a bit surprised with this news but playing in the Japanese league will improve Manon’s defense and speed. As long as the setter won’t set her 99.99% of the time, then Manon for sure will have a great time. Plus, she’s very famousin Japan and her presence would increase the league’s popularity.

Knowing the news is not official yet, all we can say is that play where the grass is greener your heart tells you.

Tanoshinde Manon!
