Don’t mess up with her because she is dead serious!
Croatia’s women’s volleyball coach, Irina Kirillova, threatens to resign from her position if the Croatian Volleyball Federation will not pay her. We’ve learned that Irina – who was one of the world’s best setters from Russia in the late 80s and 90s – hasn’t received her salary for 2 months now and she has no idea if the Federation plans on paying her.
Irina said that she won’t get paid on Thursday, she has no choice but to leave.

In February when she was first hired, Irina had this huge smile on her face was really excited to work and coach Croatia. A few months later, it seems like the relationship has turned sour.
We’re crossing our toes and fingers on this issue and we remain optimistic it gets resolved on or before Thursday.
