Czech Kids Get To Play! Yehey!

This is really cute and a very amazing news to read and hear!

The Czech Rep Federation has organized a volleyball project called “Colored Volleyball” specifically created for little kids aged 6 to 12. A total of 560 kids joined the debut of the program last December 27th-28th, 2010. Awesome!

According to this CEV Article, this is how the “Colored Volleyball” Project works:

Those dressed in yellow were simply supposed to be able to throw and catch the ball, while their most experienced companions – wearing a blue jersey – were actually playing a 3 vs. 3 challenge featuring only minor modifications to the official Volleyball rules.

The article also shares that the Project will be for the entire year.

In April the children will play in Karlovy Vary and next May in Prague. The real climax is scheduled for next September 10-12 in Karlovy Vary as the pupils will play there their last event in combination with the top-class matches of the international stars competing at the EuroVolley 2011.

We love and support the project! This is great for little kids who dream to become great volleyball players someday. Kudos to the Federation for designing and creating “Colored Volleyball”.
