Seriously, what’s up with Brazilian stars lately getting injure? Within the last 12 months, the following players got injured: Mari, Paula, Jaqueline, Giba, Murilo and now Bruno the setter! Even Coach Rezende got seriously injured and was on a wheelchair at the 2010 World Championship.
Back to Bruno, BB ruptured an ankle ligament. He was blocking and then the hitter collided with him while on the way down. Yikes!
The good thing is that he didn’t break anything and has started treatment so he could rejoin his team as soon as possible and fight for the Superliga Crown.
Well, don’t rush your recovery bb. Take your time. Be patient.
With this injury, maybe this would convince Coach Rezende to ask the great Ricardo to rejoin the team? You never know! Giba and Rodrigao are willing to play with the fallen star again but they both leave the decision to Coach Rezende.
