Anderson Stays In Italy

Someone is in love with Italy.

American outside hitter, Matt Anderson, remains in the Italian League next season but he will be on a different team. BB left Vibo Valentia and will now spread his long quick arms for Casa Modena.

Other confirmed players for Modena are Angel Dennis and Dick Kooy. The rest of the squad will be officially announced soon.

We remember when we first interviewed Matt, he said his dream is to play in Italy and it’s all coming true for him now.

We’re so happy for him!

He played so well last season! Matt was Valentia’s most reliable scorer and his performance caught Modena’s attention. Matt replaces Yury Berezhko who might play for Zenit Kazan next season.

We can guarantee Modena that they made the right choice.

Other Americans who have been hired for next season are middle blocker David Smith from Spain’s Unicaja Almeria to  Tours VB of France, setter Jon Winder from PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece) to France’s Tourcoing Lille and joining Winder is outside hitter Jason Jablonsky who played for Greek League Champion, Olympiacos Piraeus, this past season.

In case you didn’t know, Reid Priddy has renewed his contract with Zenit Kazan. According to our source, P-Riddy’s contract is worth close to $1 Million dollars. Dang!

Anyways, we wish everyone the best!

Represent and GO USA!
