4 Warm-up Exercises For Volleyball Players!

4 Warm-up Exercises to Reintroduce You to You and make sure you are Volleyball Ready!

So, we all know that feeling… You know, THAT feeling!

It’s been raining (well, apart from if you live in California…), you’ve been sat down in the car for 25 minutes traveling to training, the day has already pushed you hard, and now it’s time to play! It’s that strange mix of complete burnout and absolute readiness that greets you like an old, slightly annoying friend that you’d rather not bump into when you’re walk in through the doors of the gym.

We know that feeling. We’ve shared it with you many times before, and we’re here to help! When you step out onto court you know that you need to be on top of your game. Tactically, technically, physically ready to play YOUR game.

But here’s the thing: If you’re not physically ready, your technique won’t be either, right? And if you’re not firing technically, how can you expect to work well tactically? Don’t panic! Here are 4 quick and simple exercises for you and your volleyball teammates to make sure that you’re physically prepared to own your volleyball game.

In order to be prepared, you need to know what normal is, right? If you stick to the guidelines, these exercises let you test what is normal for you and compare to yourself every time you do them.

They’ll help you to get physically ready to move on-court for that session, shaking off THAT feeling and get you ready to play. As well as this, if you commit to do them before every training session, you’ll start to see that your Normal becomes Good. One day, if you keep doing them getting yourself prepared for training you’ll notice that you’re Good has become Great And we could all do with a little bit more Great in our life!
