Looks like Russian star Lioubov Sokolova has a penchant for changing her last name. She was introduced to the volleyball world as Lioubov Sokolova 16 years ago. Lyuba then became Chachkova followed by Kilic after she remarried a Turkish citizen & then back to Sokolova again as of late.

Fenucciova?

That’s even tougher to pronounce Lyuba! Why make it so difficult for us? Hah! We kid! We kid!

According to our source, the 2 time Olympic silver medalist is using her boyfriend’s surname “Fenucci”. In Russian name culture, she added “ova” to make it a female last name. Fenucci + Ova = Fenucciova. Another source gave us a different information. Source said that “Fenucci” is the last name of Lyuba’s grandfather who recently passed away.

Lyuba’s new last name was revealed over the weekend during a friendly tournament with her Turkish club team, Eczacıbaşı VitrA.
