Prince William <3 Volleyball

The Royal Family obviously loves volleyball…

Yesterday at the Westway Sports Centre in north Kensington, London, Prince William aka The Duke of Cambridge took part in a volleyball game with young apprentice sports coaches in a mentoring programme he helped to create.

We’re not sure about his volleyball skills BUT it’s great to see the future KING OF ENGLAND to be enjoying the sport of volleyball and at the same time gives the sport a much needed global exposure.

One of the highlights of the day according to www.telegraph.co.uk:

The royal visitor appeared to meet his match when trying to return the serve of 13-year-old Vinojh Kalaiselvan. The Duke tried to dig the ball on the first occasion but missed and then let the ball practically land at his feet when the pint-sized volleyballer served again. After the first miss, a still buoyant Prince William kept up the talk with his team-mates, shouting: “Sorry, my bad.”

Now, watch and enjoy this:

The event was for The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

According to www.royalfoundation.com:

The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry was legally established by The Princes in September 2009 and became fully operational in 2011. Along with The Duchess of Cambridge who is now officially a Patron, they intend to use the Foundation as the main vehicle for their philanthropic activities.

The Mission

The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry is the Patrons’ primary charitable vehicle, and hopes to become a leading philanthropic investor, effectively using its time and resources to create lasting change in targeted areas and geographies, based on need and on the interests of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The Foundation will seek to invest in, or partner with, organisations with proven impact, using its profile and leverage to create a multiplier effect in resources, outcomes and knowledge.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will also aim to use their Foundation to respond to other needs and opportunities although at this point the Foundation is unable to accept unsolicited requests for support.

Again another look at the Future King…

Prince William

Out of the 3, who do you think is the BEST VOLLEYBALL PLAYER of them all?

We say Kate!

She played volleyball in the most fashionable way wearing Skintight ‘jeggings’ by J Brand jeans, a Ralph Lauren breton-style top, a one-button blazer by Smythe, £695 diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough andStuart Weitzman for Russell and Bromley ‘corkswoon’ wedges.
