Our hearts melted when we saw this pic.
Last September 28th, Kristin Richards, Christa Harmotto, Nellie Spicer, Danielle Scott-Arruda, Nicole Fawcett, Jordan Larson and Foluke Akinradewo went to Childrens Hospital of Orange County for a special visit organized by Athletes For Hope. The 2 time consecutive Grand Pix Champions spent hours getting to know the patients and their families as they posed for pics and signed autographs. According to Athletes For Hope, the kids can’t wait to see them again! have them visit again soon.
We had the chance to ask Kristin about the experience and here’s what she said…
“It was great to be there with my teammates. All really good people with big hearts. Also a very good opportunity for us to connect with our community. The experience was humbling for all of us because there are kids going through some pretty tough stuff, but it was very neat to be able to sit with them and talk to them about what they’re going through and how important it is to stay optimistic.
Hopefully we had a positive impact on them.
I know they definitely did on us.”

Hollywood celebrities are not the only ones who can make a difference in the lives of others, Volleyball Players and other athletes can do it too! The hours they spent with the kids will forever be remembered and will forever remain in their hearts.
