Yamamoto Is Injured
What would Japan do now? Their best middle blocker is injured and will need monthsssssssss to recover. The very experienced Ai Yamamoto seriously damaged her right knee and has returned to Japan to seek medical help.

We crossed our fingers, our toes and our nails on this one. The JVA and the FIVB have finally decided to allow Japan to host 2 preliminary rounds of the 2011 Grand Prix & the 2011 World Cup. The earthquake, the tsunami and the nuclear crisis cannot take the World Cup away from Japan. Wareware wa hijō ni Nippon no hokori ni omotte imasu!
