In case you didn’t know, Asseco Resovia won the 2013 Super Cup in an epic 5 set match versus Zaksa (22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13).

We didn’t get to see the match but it looks like there were some controversial calls after veteran setter Pawel Zagumny unleashed these words:
“They didn’t do a good job. I don’t know who they are. Maybe they just got promoted to the highest level. From what I saw, those refs will NOT a have bright career in their profession. I hope they will retire early.”
The defeat must be a very bitter pill to swallow.
Resovia’s middle blocker Lukasz Perlowski did not fully agree with Zagumny. He is aware of the reffing mistakes but…
“Both sides had some doubts after certain calls. But referees are humans, so they have right to make mistakes. Especially now when volleyball is a very fast game. It only works one way – they lost, so that allows them to complain on the referees.”

Well take it easy you guys. The match is over. No need to be mad nor start a fight.
The season just started and there are plenty matches to look forward to. Together with Skra, Zaksa and Asseco are the other favorites to win the Plusliga.
