BYU’s Taylor Sander Makes History

Congrats TayTay!

According to this article released by BYU, senior Taylor Sander became the BYU career kills leader during the rally-scoring era. He reached this career milestone over the weekend when BYU defeated Cal Baptist in straight sets (25-20, 26-24, 25-22). Sander scored 13 points to surpass Rob Stowell for the No. 1 spot in the rally-scoring era with 1,563 career kills.

Coach Chris McGown says…

“(Taylor) has never said a word to me about it, I’ve never said a word to him about it. These things are just a product of playing well. We don’t think about it too much, but it’s certainly a nice achievement for him.”

Knowing his graduating this year, we hope THE SANDMAN will win an NCAA Crown. It’s like the ONLY achievement missing in his collection.
