We hope this award gives Ivan Zaytsev a dose of humility.
Zaytsev has pretty much carried Macerata during the regular season of the Italian League with the absence of Kovar and Cristian Savani. From outside hitter to opposite hitter, he’s been Macerata’s top scorer and therefor deserves this award.

Ivan Zaytsev won the 41st edition of the Gazzetta Award 2013. The MACERATA spiker was therefore named the MVP of the regular season and received this prestigious acknowledgement thanks to the points given after each game by the Gazzetta experts.
