LEON was just on FIRE this weekend throughout the Final 4 Of The Champions League!
During the semifinal match versus host team Berlin Recycling Volleys, the 21 year old scored 26 points (18 kills, 2 blocks and 6 aces). Then during the final match versus Polish club team Resovia, he scored 18 points (12 kills and 6 aces).
With these stats, no wonder he was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the 2014/2015 Champions League to go with his Best Outside Hitter Award. As far as we know, he is the second Cuban to win such award after Osmany Juantorena’s solid performance back in 2011.
Rumor has it that Leon is interested to play for Polish National Team but only time will tell if it’s going to happen.
With a Polish girlfriend, anything is possible.
