The Saga Continues For Jaqueline Carvalho

October 24th, 2014

Jaque’s wife finally talks about his wife’s problem.

Murilo, who just had shoulder surgery and will be out for 2 months, tells Globo Esporte:

“There is nothing else for us to do but to wait.

Leaving Brazil is out of the question. This is our decision and we will face all the consequences. We do not want Arthur out of Brazil or Jaque away from Arthur for so long.

It would hit us in the chest. If she can’t not play in Brazil then she will stay at home. Thank God I can support the family with just me working. I have a great contract with Sesi-SP. Jaque has already some years of volleyball as well. But let’s wait, there is still hope for her to get a club to play in. There are teams that still fit for Jaque but they need to show interest.“

The 2014 World Championship silver medalist also adds that they will NOT play overseas until Arthur turns 9 months or older.

To be honest, we don’t think Jaque will find a team who can afford. She demands a very high salary because of her experience and reputation as one of the world’s best players with 2 Olympic golds.

May we also add that some Brazilian fans are starting to get annoyed with Jaque and call her a DRAMA QUEEN.

Stay tuned…

Believe it or not, one of the world’s best players Jaqueline Carvalho still doesn’t have a club team for this season.

After winning the bronze medal at the recently concluded World Championship, Jaque could not hide her emotions and cries on national TV as she reveals about her problem looking for a team.

In case you didn’t know, the Brazilian League uses a point system for teams to determine the players they can hire per season. In Jaque’s case, she is a 7 point player (which is the highest) and therefore she can’t join her former team Osasco because the team already has two 7 point players, Thaisa and Dani Lins.

Being one of the most expensive players also doesn’t help her case.

Watch This:

Jaque says:

“It was my last game (the bronze medal match). I will no longer play volleyball for this year.

I’ll take care of my son, my family, but the sport that I like is quite over for me. I’ve received many proposals from other countries but I’m not leaving Brazil for sure. Being a mother, my family comes first.

At this point, I’m very pleased and happy even if I don’t know anything about the future of my volleyball career.”

Upon arrival at the airport, Jaque talks to the press right away and reveals that NO ONE is helping her.

“Based on the CBV Player Rankings, clubs who have the money to pay me cannot hire me because they already have many players. Nobody is helping me at all.

I really do not want to talk about my career. I get tired of the whole time talking about the same thing. If I don’t have a club to play for, I will just take care of my son and my family. I don’t want to keep complaining. I just have to lift my head. I will take what I have which is a wonderful family.

I will continue cheering for the my my teammates.

Life goes on.”

Brazilian Coach Ze Roberto makes a promise that he will help Jaque.

“I believe that some clubs are scrambling to take Jaqueline. I think this week or next week is crucial to her career. We need her because it is very important for the National Team. If not, I vow that I will help her in any way”.

She has already declined a $500,000 offer from a Japanese club team because she doesn’t want to be away from her family. She is going through a very difficult time with her career. We really hope it all works out for her in the end.

Be strong Jaque!
