Great idea Rabita!
Azerbaijan’s best club team & league champion, Rabita Baku, has decided to extend their relationship with 2012 Olympic silver medalist and the Best Blocker of the 2012/2013 Azerbaijan League, Foluke Akinradewo.
According to a source, the 25 year old middle blocker is reportedly getting paid in the $500,00-$600,000 range for just 1 season.
That’s a lot of $$$ Foluke!
During the 2012/2013 season, Foluke and Rabita Baku won the silver medal at the CEV Champions League, won the Azeri women’s league and a silver medal at the FIVB Club World Championship. Winning the Azeri league gives Rabita a spot in the 2013/2014 edition of the Champions League aka Europe’s most prestigious club tournament.
