Suspended: Pedro Solberg

Brazilian beach volleyball player, Pedro Solberg, has been suspended indefinitely by the FIVB after testing positive for steroids, ie 5a-androstane-3a, 17b-diol with a concentration of 104.27 ng / ml. The test was conducted last May 30th by WADA in Rio De Janeiro.

Per FIVB:

“The substance found is the exogenous steroid androstane, which can be used to gain muscle mass, depending on the amount in the body. The examination was done by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), in Rio de Janeiro, on May 30, and the athlete denies having consumed any prohibited substance.”

If Pedro is found guilty despite denying the allegation then he can get suspended for 2 years.
