Conte Leaves His Team

UPDATE: #2: As we previously and original stated, Conte will play for MONZA and has declined the rumored offer from Fenerbahce because the Turkish League only allows 2 foreign players.

UPDATE: #1: We just received a reliable TIP that Conte is going to Turkey and play for Fenerbahce together with Miljkovic and Marshall. Let this be true! Let this be true!

Where are you going now BB Conte?

Argentina’s star player, Facundo Conte, has decided to terminate his contract with Italian club team, Energy Resources San Giustino, effective yesterday December 7th, 2011. The decision was mutually decided by both parties. Facundo will remain in Italy and according to a source he’d join Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza.

San Giustino is currently sits in the bottom 3 of the prestigious Italian League which could have affected Conte’s decision to leave. We mean he’s one of the world’s best young players and playing for a team who constantly struggles in every match doesn’t look good on Conte’s volleyball resume. SG could’ve been a stronger team if Serbian opposite hitter, Starovic, didn’t get injured.

Anyways, if Conte transfers to Monza then he doesn’t have much to worry about. The team currently has the 2011 World Cup Best Setter and his teammate Luciano De Cecco together with 2011 European Champion Milos Nikic. We have a feeling that if the transfer pushes through, Conte will replace American Sean Rooney in the starting 6. Bummer! Rooney was pretty much a bench player at the World Cup and playing the same role in the Italian League won’t definitely help him gain his confidence back. Sean is such a talented player!

Conte can either replace Nikic or Rooney. Just Saying.

We’re talking too much here. LOL!

We wish Conte the best. If you can’t make up your mind BB, then you can play on our team. We have a local league here that needs a player like you. We’d even pay for your Leagye Fee. We kid! We kid! Hahaha!

Any Thoughts?
