Malagurski Exits The World Cup

UPDATE: From our source, Sanja will return to Serbia on Sunday. As for her injury, she’s pre-diagnosed with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury.

Sooooooooo Sadddddddddddddddd!

Serbia is already playing without Jelena Nikolic and Maja Ognjenovic and now Sanja Malagurski is (possibly) out of the World Cup tournament. On the first day of the competition, Sanja was screaming in pain holding her right knee while on the floor after hitting the ball from the right side. She didn’t collide with any Korean player. It was just one of those awkward landings after a spike.

We had to mute our computer because we could not take listening to hear agony. She looked and looks seriously hurt. We’re so sadddddddddddddd! This is just the first day and someone is already injured.

Sanja was taken out of the gym on a stretcher after the Serbia won the first set.
