PHOD Win Again!

After winning the Quebec Open, Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers did it again!

The 2008 Olympic Champions are so far having the best few weeks of their lives by winning the last 2 FIVB tournaments held in Quebec, Canada and Stare Jablonk, Poland.

Winning 2 events means Phil and Todd aka PHOD are now $73,500 richer ($30,000 Quebec + $43,500 Stare Jablonk).

This past weekend in Poland, PHOD defeated 2011 World Champions Emanuel and Alison in an epic semifinal match (21-15, 18-21, 15-12) and played another 3-set match versus Poland’s Fijalek & Prudel (21-15, 15-21, 15-13) in the battle for gold.

The women’s tournament was won by none other than current World Champions Larissa & Juliana who defeated Kessy and Ross in 3 sets: 1-2 (14-21, 21-19, 18-16). In case you’re wondering how Kerri Walsh and Misty May did, well the 2 time Olympics Champs lost to Kessy and Ross in the Quarterfinal match and they ended up in 5th place.

Congratulations to the all the winners and all the teams who competed in Poland! Fans were treated for sure with another world class volleyball beach event.
