Sisley Bites The Dust…

This news caught us off guard…

After 9 Italian Volleyball League, 4 Coppa Italia, 6 Italian Volleyball Super Cup, 4 CEV Champions League, 1 CEV Cup Winner’s Cup and 4 CEV Cup titles,  Italian club team, Sisley Treviso, is officially gone for good.

We’re really sad.

Sisley has/had a great volleyball history and welcomed a lot of world class players like Samuele Papi, Fei, Cisolla and Robert Horstink.

Their shocking withdrawal from the Italian League is due to financial reasons (?) and their spot will most likely be given to Castellana Grotte, an A2 club team. Sisley’s players are also looking for a new club team next season. Knowing how talented they are, it shouldn’t be a problem nor it would take long for them to find a new home.

We will miss Sisley for sure!

Tears.
