Poland’s Malwina Smarzek Is ON FIREEEEEE!!!

After 6 matches, Polish player Malwina Smarzek (191cm) leads all players as the Best Scorer of the Volleyball Nations League with 155 points (134 spikes, 14 blocks & 7 aces).

The opposite spiker who turns 22 next week is 26 points ahead of #2 scorer Kim Yeon Koung (Korea). Other players in the top 5 are Louisa Lippmann (Germany) 112 points, Brayelin Elizabeth Martinez (Dominican Rep) 107 points and Tijana Boskovic (Serbia) 9 points.

Smarzek and Poland are currently ranked #13th after Round 2. They won against China and Italy but lost to Turkey, USA, Serbia and Thailand.

One of her best performances so far in the tournament was she scored 35 points against China. Poland won that match in an epic 5 set marathon. In case you didn’t know, the last time Poland beat China was at the 2010 World Championship 9th/10th classification match.
