Lukasz Zygadlo Is Ready To Play

We’ve missed you Ziomek!

Polish setter Lukasz Zygadlo is reportedly ready to train and play again after a serious ankle injury last year which prevented him from playing with his Russian club team, Zenit Kazan.

Zygadlo says…

“I want to forget everything about the injury. I am ready to train and to start getting back in shape. I also would like to thank all the fans, their energy helped me to pass this tough period.”

There’s no word yet if Zenit Kazan will let him play. Well, most likely he won’t get to play at all since Russian League only allows 2 foreign players per team to play. At the moment, Kazan has 2000 Olympic gold medalist Nikola Grbic and American outside hitter Matt Anderson.

Knowing that Poland will host the 2014 World Champs later this year, we hope to see Lukasz setting for Poland again.
