Rest In Peace Jade Robinson

Just heartbreaking.

If only the driver did NOT glance at the map on her telephone…

From bellairevolleyball.com:

Jade Robinson and her sister were killed in a tragic car accident. The Bellaire Volleyball community is grieving.

It’s an extraordinarily difficult time.

We ask for your prayers to include Jade’s mother, father and grandmother; the pain of their loss is overwhelming. Pray for the girls who looked up to and were inspired by Jade Robinson. Pray for her teammates and coaches. They have difficult time ahead and will need our support.

Jade Robinson was a big presence in our volleyball community; the Bellaire High Volleyball program and Houston Juniors Volleyball Club. As a varsity captain, Jade led the most successful Bellaire High volleyball team in school history this past season. A first team all district selection who signed to play volleyball with Tennessee Wesleyan College. Jade played several club volleyball seasons with Houston Juniors; most recently with HJV 18 National.

While Jade had a major impact on the volleyball court; she was a positive force and role model off the court. She protected, encouraged and supported younger girls and inspired confidence in themselves to be the very best person they could be.

Jade touched so many and we are all saddened by this tragedy.

For those who wish to show support, we are grateful to the Houston Juniors Volleyball Club for setting up a donation page HERE.
