Falyn Fonoimoana is NCAA Ineligible

There were endless speculations & rumors that she was transferring to University of Hawaii, but we guess not.

2010 PAC 10 Freshman Of The Year, Falyn Fonoimoana, has been declared ineligible for the upcoming 2011 NCAA Season which kicks off next week per USC’s Coach Mick Haley. “We exhausted all of our resources in order to help Falyn retain her eligibility. We have very high expectations of our student-athletes, on and off the court, here at USC.” according to Coach Haley.

Reports of her transfer to Hawaii started when Falyn’s name was not included on USC’s 2011 roster.

What made her ineligible? We don’t really know. Specific details on her case was not disclosed nor we think it’d ever be released.

Here’s a vid of Falyn back in high school…

All we can say is we wish Falyn strength during this difficult time of her volleyball career. There’s light at the end of the NCAA tunnel Falyn!

Hang in there!
