Rumor has it that Cuban-turned-Italian our future husband Osmany Juantorena has received an offer to play for the Italian squad under Mauro Berruto (the new coach). WoW!

We’re not surprised to hear this news. Italy has done this before. They offer naturalized players from their leagues to play for their national squads, like Aguero from Cuba and Carolina Costagrande from Argentina.
One great thing we like about this news is that we get to see our bb playing in international tournaments. The more exposure the better.

On the other hand, we have to wait and see what his decision is.
We have a feeling he will decline since Berruto has stated that he plans to INVITE 100% Italian players to play for the national team since Cuba Italy has a lot of great players.
