Antonin Rouzier Retires From Team Yavbou

SURPRISE!

We could hardly believe the news that World League and European Champion Antonin Rouzier has retired from the National Team.

He made the announcement via Instagram.

With Team Yavbou, Rouzier competed in the 2016 Olympics, won silver at the 2009 European Championship, gold at the 2015 European Championship, gold at the 2015 FIVB World League and bronze at the 2016 FIVB World League. Individual awards on his resume include 2009 CEV European Championship Best Scorer, 2015 CEV European Championship –Most Valuable Player and 2016 FIVB World League Best Outside Spiker.

This season, he is playing in the Turkish League with İstanbul BBSK.

We are going to miss this guy but at the same time we’re so excited to see what he does next in life with his family.
