China Dethrones USA From Number ONE Spot

Zhu Ting, Hui Ruoqi and China are indeed the NEW QUEENS OF VOLLEYBALL!

After winning the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, Coach Lang Ping’s squad has dethroned Jordan Larson and Team USA from the #1 spot. We can’t honestly remember the last time China being the #1 team in the world but for sure it’s been more than a decade.

TOP TEN MOVERS: After a disappointing Olympic result, Brazil suffers its lowest world ranking in more than 10 years and drops to #4. 2016 Olympic silver medalist Serbia rockets to #3 from #6. Russia and Japan are now #5 and #6. The Oranjes are in the top 10 and sits at #7 (from #11).

TURKEY EXITS THE TOP 10: After disappointing results in the last 4 years, Turkey drops from #10 to #12.

After competing in Rio, Cameroon is now in the Top 20.
