Gord is so disappointed after losing their Semifinal Match to Argentina a couple of days ago. With this defeat, Gord and Team will play against Puerto Rico in the bronze medal match of the 2015 Pan American Games.

We’re a bunch of choke artists, that’s all it is. We’re better than that team and we were ahead every game and we just choked at the end. That’s all I can say. If we can’t win those sets, it’s impossible . . . we can’t win against anybody.
The teams we played before were not good teams. We wanted to play Argentina — they’re a good team. That’s the only good team we played.
We’re going to get a bronze medal and who cares? It means nothing.
We beat Puerto Rico, so what?”
It would’ve been nice to have Canada play for the GOLD in front of their home fans BUT then Argentina just played way better during the crucial parts of the match.
Argentina won in 4 sets and will play in the Gold Medal Match versus Brazil later today.

In case you didn’t know, the last time Canada won a medal in men’s volleyball at the Pan Am Games was at 1999 Games in Winnipeg.
We’d a;so like to add that the Canadian women’s team failed to make it to the Semis and finished 8th.
