Tunisia Wins Olympic Ticket

OMG! We didn’t see this coming…

We thought Cameron would win this one or even Egypt.

Anyways…

World ranked #18, Tunisia, defeated #14 Cameron to represent Africa at the 2012 Olympics in London. The 5 team tournament was held in Yaoundé, Cameroon from January 17th – 21st, 2011. The last time Tunisia competed in the Olympics was back in 2004 which was held in Athens, Greece. Unfortunately, Tunisia finished last so we hope they can improve their performance in London.

Tunisia now joins host Great Britain and the top 3 teams from the 2011 World Cup: Russia, Poland and Brazil.
