FIRST LOOK @ MICHAL KUBIAK wearing his Jastrzebski Wegiel uniform! This obviously means that he has settled his problems with his former club team.

Looking so good BB!

Why can’t they just let him go and move on without any drama?

Since winning a bronze medal at the 2011 European Championship, our Polish BB Michal Kubiak isn’t having a great time at the moment. Upon returning to Poland from the tournament, he had to spend a few days at the hospital after suffering from Pyelonephritis.

Gladly, he recovered just in time to prepare for the 2011/2012 Polish League.

But…

Just when MK thought he’d be playing with his new team Jastrzebski Wegiel, his former club team, Warszawa, came out of nowhere to complain saying that Kubiak is still under contract to play with them for another year which Kubiak is contesting.

To further help you understand what in the world is going on, we asked one of our Polish friends, Paulina aka Kurek’s future wife (JK girlfriend!), to dish about the drama.

She shares…

A year ago Michal signed a contract with Warszawa for 2 years (that’s what Warszawa says), so in this case Michał still should be a player of Warszawa. Michał says he signed a contract for a year but with a possibility of making the contract a year longer that’s why he signed a new contract with Jastrzebie. Now both clubs are arguing because both want to have Michal on their team.

Officially Michał wants to be in Jastrzebski Wegiel, where’s his best friend Zibi Bartman. Michal’s in Jastrzębie now! And today’s court said that Michał should be playing in Warszawa (picture below), but the final decision is going to be make on October 5th.

Thank you for sharing Mrs. Kurek.

The good thing is the decision is not yet final. Both parties need to pretty much convince the judge or whoever is handling this case that Kubiak is clear from his previous contract obligations or that BB needs to play with his old team for another year.

Remember, October 5th is the Judgement Day! For now his Jastrzębski Węgiel uniform is waiting for him…

We’re thinking what would Kubiak do if the court decides that he can’t play for Jastrzebie. Is he obligated to play with the team he doesn’t want to play for to begin with? Will Jastrzebie buy him out of his contract so he can play for them? There’s a lot of drama involved but we can only hope what’s best for Kubiak and for the other parties involved.

By the way, Kubiak was spotted watching Jastrzebie team practice. We bet he was itching to play with Bartman, Lasko, Holmes and the rest of the team.

Bummer!

Hang in there BB!
