President Disses Stoytchev

We’ve learned and still learning that if we have nothing nice to say to someone, then we’d rather keep it to ourselves to avoid conflict and drama.  In our opinion, dissing someone to the media is unnecessary & inappropriate.

So we hope Giuliano Grani can learn from what we’ve learned…

It appears that Modena’s big boss is not a big fan of Radostin Stoytchev, the coach of Trentino Volley and Bulgaria. While talking to the Italian press, Grani started dissing Stoytchev by saying this:

Since we don’t understand Italian, we really thought he said something nice about one of the most successful men’s club coaches in the world. But then when we asked our friend Google Translate to help us, this is what we got:

I’ve been playing for 6 years and I’ve built relationships with almost everyone. Stoytchev is the only person I’ve never had the opportunity to talk to. From the beginning, I saw in him an unsportsmanlike attitude. He regularly protest, even when the decision is clearly against him. He always tries. It also conveys to the players. It pulls the whole team proud. Win, won, but he also lost, but what bothers me is that it allows to criticize our public. He has to watch himself, and also his company, which also is the company’s president of league should set an example. He made a reference to children going to watch the games well, first of all children look at how we behave on the pitch. A first of all should be well behaved staff and players.

We don’t completely understand the entire text but one thing we know for sure is that Mr. President dislikes one of the most successful club coaches in the world.

Sad.

In case you didn’t know, Stoytchev and Trentino defeated Volley Modena in the semifinal round of the Italian League. From his words, we can sense a bottle of bitterness.

We don’t know Mr. Grani at all and we just want to say that we don’t like his words. If he really wants to talk to Stoytchev, then maybe he can do the first move. He’s also complaining about Stoytchev’s attitude during matches.  Coach  Stoytchev always tries to question every call which makes him unsportsmanlike & that Stoytchev’s attitude doesn’t make him a good role  model to children who watch the matches.

We hope Modena’s coach doesn’t do any of Grani’s accusations so that we could totally validate his thoughts on Stoytchev.

We wonder if Stoytchev plans on responding to Grani’statement or if he cares.

Thoughts?
