The Peace Sign Gallery

Volleywood Stars Are Like Us! They also do the very famous “Peace Sign”!

The hand gesture “PEACE SIGN” is thought to have begun in Europe during World War II when a V for victory – and not to be confused with the catholic gesture of benediction – was painted on walls as a symbol of freedom from occupying forces. The sign was widely used by peace movements in the 1960s and 1970s as a symbol of victory for peace and truth.
