Is this going to be one of THE BEST Volleyball Team documentaries the world has ever seen? It looks like it.

What is “Drużyna (Team)”?

“Drużyna” is the second volleyball movie in the history of Polish cinema. The entire film will be released just before the start of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championships which will be held in Poland.

The film catches the lives of Polish players at training for a few months and being away from their loved ones. Their lives are also connected to sponsors, commentators, cheerleaders, the Kułaga-Magiera duo (two people responsible for the sound and the atmosphere at the sport hall during the matches of Polish NT) and the sport halls which are always full of faithful Polish fans who are always willing to travel hundreds of miles just to support them.

Every single season means new goals, new perspectives, next chmpionships titles to get. What will the upcoming season bring? What’s Michał Winiarski missing? What was Michał Kubiak’s reactions for deafeats in his childhood? What would Krzysztof Ignaczak do if he was on a deserted island? How Marcin Możdzonek spends his free time?
