Volley Masters: Germany Finally Beats Brazil!

We honestly can’t remember the last time Germany won against Brazil in an international tournament. Our guess was during the Final Round of the 2002 FIVB Grand Prix when the Germans beat the Brazilians in straight sets to win the bronze medal.

Yesterday at the ongoing Montreux Volley Masters tournament, the world’s most handsome coach Coach Felix Koslowski, veteran Maren Brinker and Germany defeated Brazil in an epic 5 set match. Felix’s squad has a lot of young players including 22 year old opposite hitter Louisa Lippman who scored 21 points against the Brazilians.

This is a GREAT victory for Germany and a good sign that this young squad has a bright future while it’s not a good sign for the Brazil who is in the process of rebuilding for the 2020 Olympics.

3:2 vs 🇧🇷!!! Klasse Start für unsere #dieschmetterlinge bei den #montreuxmasters 😍💪 #volleyball
