Another Olympic Heartbreak For Nicole Fawcett

July 14th, 2016:

While thousands of her fans are still sad with the fact she is EXCLUDED from the Olympic roster, Nicole Fawcett’s IG post gives us another reason to LOVE & RESPECT her even more.

July 1st, 2016:

No words can explain how we feel with this news.

At 29, it looks like we may never get to see Nicole playing in the Olympics.

Per peakofohio.com:

Former Benjamin Logan and Penn State great Nicole Fawcett will not be representing our country at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in August.

Team USA Women’s Volleyball Coach Karch Kiraly cut Fawcett Monday night.

He gave no explanation for his decision, but thanked her.

Fawcett just scored a team-high 15 points when the U.S. Team swept Germany last Friday in Hong Kong.

In April 2015, she was named MVP of the Korean League.

In January, Fawcett was named Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite of the 2016 Women’s NORCECA Olympic Qualification Volleyball Tournament as Team USA won the gold and earned a bid to the 2016 Olympic Games.

On the other hand, we’d be really surprised if Coach Karch will take 3 SETTERS to Rio. If he does that, USA would be the only team to have done it in the Olympics.

It will take us some time to get over this news.

BE STRONG NICOLE!

We love you!
