Giba Makes History

Aside from being one of the world’s best and most famous players, Giba needs to update his résumé after 2 victories against Puerto Rico this past weekend.

With the 2 World League victories, Giba now has a total of 150 World League victories out of the 176 matches he has played as a starter.

Aside from having one of the longest names in volleyball (Gilberto Amaury de Godoy Filho), Giba has won the World League 8 times with some individual awards and $$$ to go along with the victories since his debut in 1997.

Dang!

With his intention to retire after the 2012 Olympics, Giba is indeed one of the world’s best players our generation has ever seen.

Thoughts?
