He is the most charismatic Polish player we have ever seen. Kurek has this captivating smile which can melt the hearts of many girls volleyball fans from all over the world. Within the last couple of years, he’s been Poland’s main weapon at such a very young age.

At the 2011 World League, Kurek showed a very strong performance during the Intercontinental Round up to the Final Round in Gdansk wherein Poland or Polska won the bronze medal and Bartosz being awarded as the Best Scorer of the tournament.

Other awards under his belt are 2009 European Championship gold medal, 2010 World Club Championship silver medal with Skra Belchatow and several Polish League titles & individual awards.

If we could describe Kurek in one word, it’d be: Talented.

According to Wikipedia, Bartosz was awarded The Order of Polonia Restituta in 2009. The Order was conferred on the following day by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. With thousands of fans in Poland and across the globe, Kurek deserves to receive Volleywood’s Wall of Fame.
