2013/ 2014 Brazilian Superliga Teams

Brighter than ever before!

The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) today announced the participants of the 2013/2014 Superliga season.

Due to financial problems, the men’s league will only have 11 teams compared to 12 last season.On the other hand, the women’s competition is BIGGER than ever before from 10 teams to 13 teams.

Vivo/Minas – Belo Horizonte (MG)
Moda Maringá – Maringá (PR)
RJX Vôlei – Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
Agel/Monte Cristo – Goiânia (GO)
Canoas Vôlei/Móveis Kappesberg – Canoas (RS)

Women:

Minas Tênis Clube – Belo Horizonte (MG)
Banana Boat/Praia Clube – Uberlândia (MG)

E. C. Pinheiros – São Paulo (SP)

What makes the new season more exciting is the presence of foreign female players like Caterina Bosetti (ITA), Sanja Malagurski (SRB), Kristin Richards (USA), Kim Glass (USA), Brankica Mihajlovic (SRB) and Yusleyni Herrera Alvarez (CUB).
