Touching The Net Is Now Illegal
The FIVB has approved a change to Rule 11.3 to apply to both Volleyball & Beach VB so that contact with the net by a player between the antennae, during the action of playing the ball, is now a fault.

Brazil Still #1, Poland Now #3
Brazil is still the world’s #1 team although they did not win a major competition this year. Brazil finished 2nd at the 2014 FIVB World League & 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship.
